What is the difference between web-based delivery and taking the courses in-person?

We use a combination of web technologies and telephone conference calls to deliver web-based courses. Courses are segmented in to three or four hour blocks and include the same instructor-led lectures, demonstrations, and discussions which the live courses provide. Some hands-on exercises may be assigned as homework to be done offline between sessions. Course sessions are recorded and available for your review for up to 30 days following the course. Only certain courses are available in web-based format. Contact Troux Training service for more information.

How do I register for a course?

From the Course Schedule, click to view a course description and then click to register online or contact us. Open-enrollment registration is first-come first-served, based on when payment is received. We accept credit card payments (Mastercard, Visa, or American Express), or a pre-approved purchase order.

What are your cancellation policies?

A minimum of six (6) students is required to form a class. Fewer than six paid students registered 10 business days before the class start will result in a class being cancelled. Troux reserves the right to cancel or change any class within a minimum of 10 business days’ notice to confirmed students.

A student should notify Troux at least ten (10) business days before the scheduled training date if he or she will not be able to attend. Students may reschedule classes, at no additional charge, up to ten (10) days prior to the commencement of open-enrollment courses as long as seats are available.

Confirmed students who cancel or reschedule within the 10 business days prior to a class will be charged a fee equal to 50% of tuition. This fee will not apply if a substitute takes the student’s place. Confirmed students who fail to attend class (no-show) and do not cancel will be charged full tuition. Student substitutions may be made at any time without penalty.

How to I arrange a private training course?

Private on-site and web-based training should be scheduled a minimum of 10 business days in advance. Equipment needs vary by course, but typically are the responsibility of the customer to provide. Please contact the Troux Training group to confirm arrangements.
